Sometimes a tall person is not around to help you reach the things on the high shelves. Not sure the crippling knee and ankle problems would be worth it long term though. Also I ran across this on the Puget Sound, WA.  My town has this store too, I'm in the same geographic area, but I hoped it was a singular instance and not a chain. Now I hope this whole state floods and gets washed away.
