I liked it a lot, enough to put in the effort to unlock the 'save data copy' NG+-esque function.

It's basically Harvest Moon with some added action-RPG elements. I really enjoyed the crop system in this one, but maybe that's just me. It's anime as hell though, if that's a point against for you.

I finally figured out the issue with Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon was. Turns out the camera is broken on that 3DS (as in, if you hit L and R on the home screen the system crashes). The game actually uses the camera for the first 5 seconds of the game as a "oh its YOU who is leaving the real world and becoming a pokemon!" thing, and since the camera isnt accessible, it crashed with no error code. I was able to buy a cartridge and play past that intro part on a different 3DS and continue playing on the one with the broken camera, since the camera is never used again. As far as I can tell there is no way around it if only using a digital copy.

Sort of, but not really. I mean, Amazon and other retailers have seized on the fact that we're dimly aware of it from the US and use it as an excuse to do sales, but we still don't have people traditionally trampling each other to death over discount TVs the day after Thanksgiving. :v:

Maybe not to that extent, but Black Friday is still a really big deal over here.

I've been assaulted by marketing about it for ages now. We might be more used to queuing in general, so it might help. Midnight store opening and everything happen, though.

Tonnes of UK online retailers have pretty big sales. Including other platform's digital stores. The PSN sale is really pretty good.

I'm entirely okay with 40% off actually decent games each day, Puzzles and Dragons not withstanding, in comparison to whatever NOA is doing.

I do hope they put something I don't have on sale though, because it's a bummer having to stand to the side of an actually okay sale because I already own everything on it that I want.

Yeah. It got a huge single player campaign and you play all the multiplayer by yourself offline. Some stuff is unlocked through mulitplayer missions so it can be a good idea to hop over and get some stuff. Keep in mind all multiplayer monsters have more defense and deal more damage.

And here are some basic gameplay non-spoiler hint. But I'll spoiler them anyways incase you don't want to read them.

Monsters and you deal about the same amount damage of to each other. However they have 1000s of health. And you have 100. Always focus on get hits in without getting hurt.

Items are actually useful in this game. If a monster is giving you trouble don't be scared to bring to buff items, traps, and bombs.

A sleeping monster will take 2x from the melee hit that wakes them. Or 4x from the ranged hit or explosives. If a monster runs away injured it will often fall alseep if you get it time.

Higher rank monsters have the same health as their low rank counterpart but have more defense. All explosives, including those done by weapons, bypass defense.

Great sword and insect glaive tend to be the easiest weapon to get good at and are top tier weapons. Though all weapons are viable.

Capturing monsters give more rewards. Killing monsters gives a higher chance of rare items. You really don't need to worry about the rare items until G ranks (hundreds on hours in)

Armor sets are pretty boring until G rank. Like 95% of the low and high rank armor are garabage. I just had a great jaggi set until the end game.

Nintendo may have billed me twice when I bought the anime titties game #41 AKA Shantae & The Pirate's Curse. Check yo online banking statements

edit: nm my billing address changed since the last time I bought something on the eShop and had to fix it, and apparently Nintendo puts a hold on funds even if the purchase fails.

High-contrast art styles like Boxboys don't play nice with stereo 3D.

I was thinking of VVVVVV as a similarly minimal game that has nice 3D but I just loaded it up again to compare and next to BB I suppose it's exploding with color and detail.
