I finally got my girlfriend to start watching part 2 with me after we finished part 1 like a month ago and for like the first half of episode one she was convinced that Joseph was just Jonathan but he was made immortal by the Dio head so he was still young 50 years later that is my newbie jojo story I hope u all like it

The JoJonium vol 4 (Vol 1 of BT) has Araki straight up say he made Joseph identical to Jonathan to convince readers it was still the same series despite his death so she's not hugely far from the truth.

I went into Stardust Crusaders wondering what kind of relationship Dio would have with Jotaro given how closely he was tied to Jonathan. I figured Dio would have a compelling relationship with him, possibly even becoming worthy of being the only other JoJo that Dio gave respect to. Boy was I wrong.

Plus I could be wrong but I think Jonathan said it took him the entire 7 years just to figure out the blood mechanism.

Both of them end up getting pushed down their respective paths due to what happens to their mothers, exude charisma towards women, are pretty merciless to their enemies, etc. I wonder if there's a comparison post of these two somewhere.
