yeah that's way wrong. mass has a way way higher gun murder rate and also NH and Vermont are the lowest in the entire country. Maine had 22 murders in the entire state last year and like 5 of them were gun related. all of which were done by relations of the victims

also gun crime is on the rise in mass. gun laws don't really do anything and you're more likely to be killed by just about anything else but things like hospital infections don't make good news stories even if they kill or maim loads of people.

there are way more gun deaths then just straight up murders. its right on the chart.
