I admit I was apprehensive at first, but on closer introspect I see you are in the right on this. Far-right, that is. Incidentally, it's a very basic rhetorical maneuver by the True Finns nowadays in parliament to accuse the opposition of some unrelated and unsubstantiated thing to divert the attention from the issue at hand. Especially if they're on the losing side of a debate.

Of course I don't want anyone to die, or want anyone to commit arson attacks for any reason. And it's a good thing the most common "racist crime" in Finland is someone writing something negative about Muslims... on the internet... like the police told us yesterday. There have been no murderous arson attacks in Finland against asylum seekers, only empty buildings, and probably won't be for a long time. Ok there was the time immigrants burned people to death in Tampere(?) accidentally in a pizzeria insurancy scam. But that was an accident. And that Afghan kid burned his ex girlfriend alive. That, I don't think was an accident though whatever he says. But Rexroom, do you actually admit the police are right and the new arrivals are rather unruly, and if you do, do you give a drat about it? Or are you more interested in being scared about the far-right? To another thing, one of the more disgusting social media trends past months has been people celebrating about sexual assaults committed by Finns. The logic seems to be that "haaa! nobody cares if a Finn rapes someone, so we got you know!!" but at least in my experience this is not the case at all: people have been disgusted by the low sentences received and have been pulling their hair especially because of our glorius Itä-Suomen oikeuslaitos who methodically seem to reduce the sentences of men who sexually assault women. poo poo, it has even been a common media discussion point: locals don't understand why the punishment for such and such is so minimal? Yet all of that appears to have been forgotten now that it's in the open some (notice: some, which is a small minority) turvapaikanhakijat are doing their thing and molesting young girls in various ways. The people who orgams every time when a native rapes someone are exactly like the people who get their rocks off when an asylum seeker does the same. It's a green light for their hideous tendency to hate a certain group. Some hicks hate Arabs, some people with very "redgreen" tinted glasses hate Finnish men. But in the end they are exactly the same. It's funny and appalling they don't notice it themselves  edit: which reminds me of

Considering how people in general are very unable to participate intelligently, and our head politicians are their own watchmen, I don't have much faith in it. It seems obvious that the limits of human thinking capacity in general are overwhelmed by our modern political system. Even if you and your pal are able to discuss politics intelligently, I hope I don't have to convince you that most people are absolutely lost with everything. Look at what kinds of politicians people vote for despite them loving up over and over! Any sort of analytical approach to Finland's current situation would result in completely opposite policies to what our government is doing. Increasing direct democracy would simplify matters a lot and remove many abstractions. And before you say "but the people are so dumb  ", JUST LOOK AT WHAT THE gently caress SIPILÄ & BROS ARE DOING.
