6. Why is The World so much cooler than all of the other Stands?

I really like that the reason for the main power in this series being called Stands is just because they are a presence that stands by you and that's it.

Yeah, Avdol sells it really well. It's one of my favorite panels because it epitomizes the JoJo tradition of making a really simple conversation almost comically dramatic. It's a really dramatic viewing angle, everybody just looks intense as gently caress, and Avdol is just giving Araki's elevator pitch for Stands while he chokes the life out of Jotaro with psychic fire.

I'm trying to avoid spoilers still for alch's sake but: There's probably a bunch reasons why The World is so cool. His helmet is rad as gently caress, the scuba tanks, the motif on his hands that hints at his power is also good. His expression and his posture in counterbalance to that of his user's. Those pipes going into his head. The body armour sort of bands he has. It doesn't really surprise me that Marvel paid homage to that design by giving the Hulk armour that looks like it. I just think as a whole, it's a really solid aesthetic and it really wouldn't surprise me if Araki looked at The World and thought "I loved drawing this, I'll make Crazy Diamond be a "good" version", because the designs are really quite similar. I love CD and TW so much.
