Best series this year for me. I like how other heroes sometimes effortlessly smash stuff on occasion. Mk-17 Tatsumaki What always annoyed me with some of the bigger shounen type series was all this effort to always get stronger and stronger, and the next enemy is always super tough. Never a few months of weaklings now that you trained with a god for a year and have a new outfit. This is the opposite of that, and hilarious. Once this season is over I'm headed over to read all the manga, those screenshot/manga combo gifs convinced me. The artwork is amazing.

I know, right?  One thing the anime does better than the manga is that it makes all the cannon fodder baddies a lot more prominent. They really get to develop a personality after the credits. Like Groribas and his (like) 20 moves.

If you catch up with Murata's redraw, then you should continue from chapter 53 of ONE. It may seem like you skipped a whole bunch, but that's because ONE version skipped the events between chapters 52 and 53, while the Murata version is showing what happened between those chapters.

By the time you get to the part of ONE's original webcomic immediately after where Murata currently is, the art has evolved quite a bit since early ONE OPM. And that picture isn't really fair anyway since... Tornado of Terror around that time was being drawn a lot more lazily than everything else. The "draw this character extra poorly" thing isn't a gag Murata came up with, after all. edit: some more representative panels from this episode in ONE's original

Somebody explain anime production and seasons to me. Who exactly produces anime? Do the channels order them from the studios, or do the studios operate independently and offer them to tv channels? Basically, who needs to make money for OPM to get a second season?
