I think this might finally be the thing that really hurts Trump. His polls wont go down noticeably, but there is outrage everywhere over this. The loving Israeli Times is calling out parallels to the Holocaust for fucks sake. There will be a correct argument to be made that Trump just directly endangered national security and the lives of our troops and allies overseas. He will get hit hard over this.

He's proven his base is unshakeable because they actually agree with him or are at least willing to tolerate someone voicing that opinion. He's not in need of big donor funding, and he's essentially a media magnet.
