If you guys would like more variety in your airplane heisting, please read and consider posting your support on the suggestion thread I just made on the steam forums. It's not fake difficulty, I swear!

My requests, in a nutshell, in order of ease of implementation:

1. Add a lootable cash register to the diner.
2. Add ATMs.
3. Loose cash bundles spread around the map.
4. Playable jukebox- using the jukebox in Marlene's diner could cause it to play a song by Smokey Bennett & the Hoops, Miles Malone or Pat Briscoe.
5. Bagged, airdroppable loot in the plane cargo container- presumably up to four bags of gold or weapons, which players would then have to carry out of the heist. They'd have to do a lot to make this work, like make dropping bags out the cargo door work, and let you carry bags on the boat.

The entire second act of the heist, Locke's helicopter will be vulnerable and targeted by enemies. If it's shot down, the heist becomes unwinnable. Don't forget the two swat turrets!

Same deal with act 3 of Beneath the Mountain- one long escort quest for Locke and his chopper.

My fat pipe tells me that you'll escape with the panic room on the panic room remake, and will secure the meth you cook inside the panic room. The aftershock and Birth of Sky heists were used to build out materials related to that part of the heist.

Jumping back to the topic of Fugimind builds... If I'm going to take Grinder anyway, could it be viable to just skip Dodge entirely? Here's a build I slapped together that skips the 10% dodge from Sneaky Bastard, and instead aces Low Blow. A Light Ballistic Vest + Thick Skin aced = 50 armor, 15 of which regens every 2 seconds due to Bullseye. In addition, having Low Blow aced means that the cut-off for detection risk is 25, which means there are a ton of weapons you can bring along if you feel like some variety, including some high-damage stuff that can't quite squeeze in to the normal Low Blow / Sneaky Bastard build.

Is the trade-off worth it? No dodge at all, but extra armor and more weapon variety? I doubt I'll try it out right now, but thought it might be an interesting thought exercise.

Wow, no comments on my weird, potentially lovely Fugimind idea that skips dodge entirely? I thought you guys would flip out!

On a side note, the second mission of Saints Row 3 did skydiving better than Overkill, because they don't give a poo poo about realism and concentrate on making things fun. Seriously, how can you not love this cut scene?

Why? There's nothing really wrong with it. I mean, I'd distribute things a little differently (trade Pumping Iron for Shinobi, ace Leadership for ace Equilibrum, etc), but there's nothing too weird with it and Grinder forgives a lot of sins. I personally prefer something higher capacity for the primary with Grinder but it's a perfectly reasonable build.

the idea of doing a grinder deck without doing dodge is entirely so you don't have to worry about fugitive skills or concealment, all you need is thick skin aced and you're golden

by ignoring that you are missing out on a lot of what makes the upper tiers of fugi worthwhile

aced low blow is bad, dont do it

ace a deployable, dont ace gunslinger, you do not need it

get shinobi and cat burglar basic

you now have a bunch of points to throw around (that i suggest you spend in enforcer) , enjoy http://pd2skills.com/#/v3/mSoLhIJfGbDa:eIEfDa:tda:ghjECda:fqsoKJefGbCDa:iba:pr8N8::w58-11-14-20-18-23:s9-20-13-3-1-21-2:a3

it has no deployables and still is constrained by concealment (in concept anyway), it bad

The M308 is actually a drat good gun currently. Accurate, high damage, reasonable ammo reserve. (Hitbox weirdness may be related to desync or the fact that cops don't have legs.) Get Goonmod and you'll be set for the mods so you won't have to run anything stock ever again.

Just FYI in case you haven't figured this out already - there's no hit detection on arms and legs for whatever reason. You're stuck shooting cops in the face/body.

There's a mod out there that adds hitboxes to limbs, but it's pretty easy to shoot people in the face in this game, so meh.

Yeah, I noticed the hitbox deal with arms and legs after a few matches. I was trying to hold off an assault when my pubbie team had wiped due to stupidity. Had an angle on some cops legs around a doorway and kept unloading on them and nothing. Went through the whole "Maybe it's my computer! Or lag!" but realized that it wasn't me. That's pretty much the only time I've ever aimed for anything other than the head/neck.

And yes, I love the M308. I've found it to be so good at one-shotting everything except for the toughest enemies and even then it dishes out a good amount of damage. I've kind of gotten into a rhythm with it, at least early on.

If you insist:
Why do you have Ace Spotter?
Why do you have Ace Duck and Cover when you can't possibly dodge?
Why do you have no upgraded deployables?
Ace Gunslinger got obsoleted by the rebalance and the re-rebalance didn't change that.
I don't think the damage from the Flash Hider is worth losing accuracy over.

1. Ace Spotter is in case I drop into a pub game that's stealthing. At least I'll have something to do other than leave immediately. But yeah, it could be sacrificed.
2. Duck and Cover was an oversight last night. I've messed around with the build this morning and ended up with a revised build that removes Duck and Cover.
3. From my (limited) experience so far, I've found that my main contribution to teams has been to run around rescuing team mates about to die by sprinting over to them and applying liberal DPS. I've also noticed that for some reason, people on pub servers have a severe bias against using first aid kits if there's a doctor's bag anywhere on the map. I figured that Inspire aced would make up for a lack of an upgraded deployable.
4. Wait, what's that about Gunslinger not being worth acing? That would save me a ton of points! I could do something like this with Mastermind instead, and have a sidekick to help out.

You have multiple skill builds now, AND most spergy pubbie hosts will indicate that their lobbies are quiet (or loud) there isn't a real reason to ace spotter on a loud build anymore.

You don't need aced gunslinger anymore because all of the good loud pistols hit the requisite damage breakpoints without it.

I think there is a an argument for the dealer with gunslinger on DW to one shot tans in the head.

Although I think that due to the rebalance th at doesn't work anymore.
