It also doesn't work for the Pokemon comparison because the Dark more directly translates from Japanese as 'Evil-type', and most of the Dark moves are dirty fighting. Bugs are good against Dark because they're intrinsically gross, and don't behave in a way that dirty fighting can do anything about. I'd say 'this guy's both racist and stupid', but I think the former implies the latter.
