The only thing I know about Yakuza is that they change the setting of the game to reflect what season it is in Japan when they release it, so one of the games had a bunch of christmas stuff everywhere since it was releasing in December.

Best thing about going from 2 to 3 is that switching from wandering around the city to fighting gangsters doesn't have a ten second loading screen. Also discovering new moves from watching people do Jackie Chan level slapstick.

one of the local shops has Tetris The Grand Master running on an arcade cabinet and it kicks rear end playing tetris with arcade controls is fun
