Glancing over that site gives me nothing but confusion. There is something darkly humorous to me about the idea of a monarchist voting for a republican party. Market Fundamentalism must be one hell of a drug. That's really part of it that gets me. It's trying to justify all these ideas which, on their own, are mutually exclusive. How on earth can Anti-Consumerism exactly jive with Austrian Economics? It doesn't make any sense. It's like they're desperately trying to come up with something that would solve some problem, but the problem is so badly defined that they're throwing whatever they can at it, kitchen sink included. Yet the Achilles' Heel in all of this the obsession with unfettered markets -- with libertarianism by its American pro-market definition. They might hate crony capitalism as much as anyone else, sure, but somehow it would no longer be crony capitalism if they were the cronies instead. Corny Capitalism, more like.
