Pages like this last one are why I keep up with Gunnerkrigg Court. It just really get to me whenever Tom brings up and questions what it means to be human. You can tell he thinks about this stuff a lot. ... Like poo poo man, have you ever written a novel?

Kat is holding the heart that she and Annie held in one of the chapter end panels. In that illustration it was half court half forest. This one seems entirely forest and Kat is literally bestowing the soul, and probably etheric compatibility with it, on robot. Robot is super creepy about it but I think this had a happy ending. We're witnessing the birth of a sentient species and of course he's reaching for god imagery to try and explain what is happening to him to the rest of his kind.
