It would take up too much of the episode and probably lose quite a bit of the humour in the process. Someone shouting "There is 7 days in a week, if you workout every other day, you work out 4 days a week, how hard is that to ****ing comprehend?!" and/or "Sunday-Saturday is only 6 days, do you have 6 days weeks where you live?" would make for excellent intros, since the thread is pretty hard to compact into a podcast reading without getting redundant or losing steam.

The Mars Colonization episode is a kinda "meh" one made great by Portaxx's reactions to people going "I'll draw the fanart of the mission! " The Offbeatr episode is a great episode made even better by the stinger at the end. "The successful projects are cartoon, cartoon, cartoon...-'GRRRR'" The Pokegirls episode speaks for itself at this point.
