I really don't see much wrong in the world today that isn't Ligur's fault. You've got your Middle-Eastern Ligurs that like to behead people. You've got your American Ligurs with the bible, the fat scooter, and lovely assault rifles, who would also like to behead people but have figured that poisoning them with lovely poisons is actually more sexy and painful. Then you've got your Finnish Ligurs that rape little girls and inhaled hell of paint thinner as kids. If where they come from, massacres are everyday thing and ditches are filled with dead babies, it's not unreasonable that some of them would take pictures to prove that there's bad poo poo going on in there. The relevant thing is whatever the pictures were taken as documentation or as holiday memories. Also, your example basically assumes that the refugees took part in the massacres or were at least compliant, which is not automatically given. Unless Vastarintaliike is regularly forced to witness communist massacres.

I suppose the point is that there is no societal good to be had from every Joe Schmoe's address, phone number and political opinions being public information so that they're easier to harass IRL whenever they express a controversial political opinion online. On the other hand it's very much a societal good that people have an accurate idea of possible conflicts of interest among politicians and other powerful people.
