So what's the deal with Locke and Rachel? Big goon? Or gooniest goon? It was never clear to me if Rachel died on the attack on Kohlingen or she was severely wounded. Locke has that creepy herb guy keeping Rachel fresh ... But is that legitimate cryostasis or is he just stopping her corpse from rotting? Locke was always my favorite from FFVI (that ending medley of his and Celes's theme!!) but his whole backstory with Rachel seemed lost in translation.

It's just keeping her corpse from rotting, which is why you need Phoenix to bring her soul back. And yes, it's as weird as it sounds, but his World of Ruin arc is all about helping him get over that poo poo. I was gonna say "well isn't he in his late teens? That's kinda typical teenager behavior for stage dramas," but actually he's 25 and if you think about it more celes is in her late teens which is probably locke and rachel's age when she died and

I don't really know much about anime, but X-2 strikes me as very anime-like in its "Perky Girls Fight Monsters" department. My guess is that Brother is just supposed to be a cross between the "funny foreigner" and "comical pervert" stereotypes I know from other Japanese media. Not that that makes him any less irritating...

So there's a 50% off sale on FF games for android and I have no idea which ones are decent on phones. I know people are wild about 6 but I figure anything with an active time fight mechanic is just going to be frustrating on mobile. Leaning towards 3 for some reason. I've never beat any of them and want to play through one on breaks.

Locke is an amoral monster who seeks to subvert death and the laws of man alike. The only reason he is not the villain is because Kefka beat him to it. In an alternate world Locke would have stolen the magic of the world (proclaiming that he is a treasure hunter and it is merely the greatest treasure of all) and distorted the world itself in order to bring Rachel back to life.

Red XIII is a fire type Pokemon. That's why he can be both a lion and a dog. That's also why he has a flame on the end of his tail like a Charmander. The real question is if he was the last of his race, how did he manage to have babies at the end of the game?

ATB is kinda a pain on mobile, plus 5 and 6 have some poo poo graphics compared to the original. 3 is based on a remake that was pretty terrible. If you don't mind the graphics for 5 and 6, they're not bad options. 4 is good too, but I'd advise finding alternate ways to play the SNES games. So I finally bothered to beat Noel on day 9. That was a pretty fun fight, though I can tell you were obviously meant to do this one first with how much simpler it was then the others. Also, I found a sidequest about some guy's journal. Once I find it, is reading it a choice I get that will ruin the sidequest if I choose wrong?
