Lol, the first ad that loaded took me to

http: //facebook.com-dm123s.space/r/l/8ba90babd63cbf948a464082027a47a3/?

The part past the ? Was a giant block of attributes or whatever that seemed to include info about phone like brand and poo poo. My phone's today's lucky winner!

Also I wanted to point out that since I turned off ad block on desktop I've had no real problems, normal ads from actual places I've heard of before, and they're not sleazy or anything. Sometimes it just never loads an ad though, the spot for it stays blank.

Dunno if it's forums related or my extremely retarded and poorly maintained and configured computing device, but I thought you might like to know. If it doesn't load an ad do you not get paid?

Awesome. This is excellent and makes me happy. I just emailed Rubicon and I'm going to be removing their ads from rotation shortly.

OK, will continue.

HTC One M8, android 5.0.2. With HTCsense or whatever (non-google--play-edition) software. Chrome. Let me know if any further specifics might help.

Okay, in DFP I have set up separate zones for mobile ads and desktop ads. The mobile ads, if cannot be filled by AdX, defaults to Rubicon where I have set up a new ad unit that is 320x100 and is served in a secure iframe. So if I have actually gotten this poo poo working correctly, the dimensions of the top and bottom 728x90 banners should change to 320x100 when they're being filled by Rubicon, and their contents should be contained by the iframe, preventing any takeovers or redirects. It might take a few minutes for the changes to go live, but I'd appreciate it if anybody on a mobile device can tell me if they are seeing a differently sized top and bottom ad now, because if you are, that should mean that you're viewing a Rubicon ad and there should be none of that bullshit going on.

Again, sorry about this crap, I've been trying to get it resolved directly through Rubicon reps because I assumed they could fix it quicker than I could. I'm obviously not 100% sure this is going to work, but hopefully it will.

Actually I'm changing it from a secure iframe to a secure js ad, since iframes can conceivably cause issues.

Sometimes I wonder if charging a sustainable reg fee, versus spending weekends and nights chasing bad ads is worth the .05/page load is worth it.

I'm surprised in 2015 that there isn't some HTML that will allow you to serve ads but not do hokey poo poo.

Been getting these mobfree ads on my iPad using safari. Doesn't happen using the chrome app. Even set my options to the mobile device setting and it still happens.

I don't know how to explain that, since setting your options to mobile device literally calls up no ads.

EDIT: maybe not
