Especially when it's mostly inexplicable replacements of O's with Q's and G's with C's, rather than borders out of place or missing countries. But that doesn't mean I don't want to know what the heck the "Bact Sed" is supposed to mean, or why the Mediterranean Sea is just labeled "Sea". And nothing really explains how you get ALEPEAUAN out of Azerbaijan. But I can just not post the rest of the globe if no one is really that interested. Here's Russia, with basically nothing to put in it since there aren't any labeled rivers or cities, and it warrants only a tiny RUSSIA, while just south of it is a CHINA in tall letters, making it the largest country name (by type size) by far on the entire globe. To be fair though, that's one way to make it completely clear where this thing was made.

Of course that's all second hand information so it may be inaccurate, but a random google search will show tons of those examples even ignoring the possible "exception and not the rule" scenarios like the Tiananmen Square anniversary. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/jan/17/china-terrified-dissent-dissident-chinese

It's the only thing so marked in Canada. But what is it supposed to be, really? There's no way to get Quebec, Newfoundland or Labrador from that mess. EDIT: I mean the only thing that makes sense is that someone without knowledge of the Roman alphabet was literally typing these in by hand, copying from a picture of a globe, rather than the real thing, and just didn't know that those "c"s were supposed to be "e"s or the those "T"s are supposed to be "I"s. But how do you get "Schefenbe" out of that? ComradeCosmobot fucked around with this message at 10:10 on Dec 19, 2015 |

You know, it's like they OCR'd a globe and printed it back out somehow. That's the only way those letter replacements happen.

You will be cast into the Pit of Cancroon, nesting place of the all-powerful sarlacc. What's weird is the countries they bizarrely emphasize. It's very important that Malta, Monaco, and the Bahamas get their due, and then some.

To judge by the location I bet it's some weird corruption of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schefferville, although that doesn't exactly explain why you'd ever put somewhere like that on a map at that scale
