we could discuss reasons why everyone's gone to poo poo this year or we could make snide jabs and pretend Norwich didnt just accidentally win against a Manchester United side who simply refuse to shoot

I think Leicester are great and I really don't think anyone in the prem has a first team that can reliably outplay them. Personally I blame lance armstrong.

it's all too common here to label every team that isn't bayern or barca on a 20-game win streak as "poo poo" and thats the kind of thing i was referring to with my comment.

i just don't think what they're doing should be lessened in any way. even if swansea/chelsea/man u are in rough patches, every game at this level is a match of narrow edges between two set of extremely skilled and well prepared players. any run like the one leicester is on is special.

can you imagine a united that ships out all their youth, plays defensive football, and buys ageing players, it's gonna be funny as hell op

Would it be that much better under Mourinho? I don't see those 2 meshing and it wouldn't help given that there are people like Jack Charlton and Paul Scholes (the Greatest Footballer to Ever Live) to start raising a ruckus every time they stumble.

I agree with your point and Leicester are fully sick, I just don't understand why things like Swanseas implosion and Manchester United choosing to never shoot are possible at this level, aside from the bonus of an unfancied team showing what good players used properly looks like

For real though I'd like to know if some teams are running less than last year, Chelsea's collapse is almost as bad as Spains when they lost their bloodbags.

I saw a km run per game stat the other day and there seems to be no pattern at all, good and bad teams at the top and bottom

They still have a lot of kids, could be much more negative still, LVG is a long term youth manager compared to Mourinho.

The commentators for Newcastle versus Liverpool were desperately trying to find a "distance covered" reason for why Newcastle were outplaying Liverpool and then the stats popped up showing the distance to be about the same.

I don't know why the commentators couldn't just say that Liverpool were bad.

The BBC commentary were making GBS threads on them all game...at one point the commentator said that Moreno should be fined and suspended for a game for a foul throw
