Not actually a panel, not even an actual script for a comic-book movie, but close enough.

Isn't that one of the things the writers liked to insert into the scripts to make sure the editors were actually paying attention? Still pretty great, either way. I remember there were a few others, but can't find them.

The go to example of this is from when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were looking for a studio and "turned down every offer, until they met Harvey Weinstein at Miramax, who had read the script the night before. In his recollection of the meeting, Weinstein asked about an out-of-place, mid-script oral sex scene, which Damon and Affleck explained was a test to see which studio executives had actually read the script. Weinstein said he was the only one to mention the scene, and that this is what led to their partnership"

That's exactly the one I was thinking of! Couldn't remember who it was that'd written the script, just that it involved something sexual.

In keeping with the recent spirit of the thread, there's actually a fairly well-known Star Wars comics example:

Wookieepedia posted:

Soon Bayts was created by Randy Stradley, and first appeared in the comic mini-series Jedi Council: Acts of War. In it, the character appears in a minor supporting role. Bayts' name was intended as a pun on the term "masturbates"; a pun later illustrated by Haden Blackman in Star Wars: Obsession. Stradley had initially planned to use the name as a practical joke on Comic Editor at Lucas Licensing Sue Rostoni, who would often put the word "Master" in front of any Jedi's name. Stradley created Bayts as an unimportant tertiary character simply to play a joke on Rostoni, but the character made it through to publication.

I'm amused that, about 40 seconds in, Cyclops manages to miss egregiously. With eyebeams that, by definition, shoot what he's looking at. At a range where they're effectively hitscan.

The only thing I remember of my impressions of the show as a kid (except for generally how people looked) is that I always thought that the sentinels were made by Magneto, because they looked similar to him with his helmet to me. I didn't really get much of what was happening in the show.

Oh, and why Rogue had super strength and flight, I remember that too.
