That's true. A bunch of them did end up just kinda farting around because being a nerd was full-time and everything else fell wayside.

Mush Mushi!

There's nothing quite like getting shot at a protest for brandishing your router like a grenade.

Also, I feel the thread hasn't quite grasped how douchey even the bandana is:

Backslash posted:

This smart bandana is developed using a computer-generated pattern inspired by the traditional kaffiyeh, an important symbol of activism. With this bandana, protesters are able to preserve their identity while embedding hidden messages in it. Unlike QR codes, messages are not stored in the pattern itself. The pattern provides an extra layer of authentication, a tracker, a way to unlock the message. Different messages can be unlocked depending on the way you fold the bandana.

Its FCC levels of illegal

Also there was a guy using a cell phone jammer in the bay area a couple of months ago, said jammer would also disrupt CH16 on VHF marine radios. CH16 is for hailing and distress only and its against the FCC law to disrupt or use CH16 in any other manner, so that guy had a double whammy federal offense in his hands.

TL;DR: gently caress jamming devices.
