Musashi vs Gegard Mousasi - K1 rules - Great to see fighters matched up only based on their names. Sapp vs Kinniku Mantaro - MMA rules - Bob Sapp fights a fictional anime character Tatsuya Kawajiri vs Kozo Takeda - K1 rules - The crusher makes his K1 debut fighting a kickboxer at the end of his career. Shortly later K-1 tried to get Albert Kraus to literally murder Takeda at his retirement match.

If you want a laugh at terrible MMA then definitely Gabi Garcia's debut, but stay away from Sapp vs Akebono which seemed to last forever due to constant stoppages. Someone claimed on Twitter that Akebono had been training with Takeshi Caesar, who was the ref for that fight. No idea if that was true but it's the only interesting thing about that contest. So essentially no, not really but some individual fights were enjoyable.

Also, Kron's striking was terrible. I counted at least 2 hooks where he was spinning like a ballerina on one foot. It was a great night for Japanese MMA is what I'm saying.
