Are the best ticket prices for shows still from those discount stands on the strip, or is there a better way to get tickets?

Not really. Did you factor in the $20 a night resort fee?

ITV [UK Channel] recently did a 2 part series about Vegas and it was pretty cool. It was a bit piecemeal in terms of focus [and the 2nd episode was better] but good nonetheless. Presented by Trevor Mcdonald.

I really enjoy learning about Vegas, are there any other good documentaries and such? I'd love to know about the operation of some of the big resorts/casinos. Really anything fascinates me about Vegas, outside of the usual stories (Bugsy getting killed, etc)

Hotwire is showing a 3 star North Strip hotel for $266 that night, is that decently cheap? (unfortunately, its probably Circus Circus)

I feel like turning down a threesome for $400 is a mistake. I've had more expensive dinners that didn't end in a threesome.

I might as well have taken it looking back on it but had the thought "Why not just hit up a girl at the Rhino who might be more fun and hotter for the same price." I dunno, thought myself out of it. I've had before so it doesn't feel like I missed out.

In being to Sapphire and Rhino, the girls at Sapphire were "friendlier" but Spearmint Rhino had more amazingly gorgeous women and as a club is better. I will say the lighting is darker in the Rhino.

Depending on where you're from they'll all blow your mind in terms of quality. They're actually all pretty close in terms of girls. I just personally prefer Rhino, used to drink there almost every night after work. I know the owners of all three clubs quite well and they all will take great care of you.

I've worked at strip clubs for 10+ years and would say both sapphire and rhino are comparable in terms of girls, if you want the baller VIP experience, go to rhino, if you just want to sit at stage and maybe get a few dances, go to sapphire. Also sapphire will scoop your party up in a limo if you call in advance.

What's the expected tip to the driver for that? We did that many years ago, can't remember what the friend in charge tipped the guy, but I remember him telling us that the guy was mad that we undertipped him. I remember thinking it was a fair bit of money, like more than getting us all there in cabs would have cost, and definitely plenty of money for driving a car for 10 minutes.

We're doing a trip to Vegas Easter weekend. Four couples, celebrating the 30th birthdays of the 4 girls. We're looking to stay somewhere nice but not spend a ton, hotel prices seem pretty good for that weekend. I was wondering if there was any kind of suite option that might make sense for us but from my searching it either seems like it wouldn't be that nice or the prices would get out of control fast. Right now I can book Aria for less than $200/night (including resort fee, through Jay's site, beat everyone else by a fair bit, thanks!). That makes it $800/night for all 4 couples, and nice suites that would fit us seem well above that. We'd pay a little bit of a premium for someone cool and being all together, but not a whole lot more since each having our own room at a 5 star hotel is already pretty good.

I'm probably overly generous when I tip for a number of reasons so I try to give the driver $10/pp that they're picking up. But realistically $20-40 for your group is fair. You gotta remember, if you're in the house limo, you're not paying for a cab or entry.

For your hotel stay I'd say you're all probably fine with getting individual rooms. The caveat being if someone wanted to splurge a little on the 1 bedroom wraparound terrace suite at the Cosmo and then get 3 regular rooms there. That, in my opinion, is the best suite for the money and capable of entertaining everyone. Everything else gets pretty expensive and not really worth it since you're all couples and want your privacy at the end of the night.

I wouldn't really go to any other the other clubs. There's no reason so. I mean...Deja Vu maybe when they have BBW amateur night for laughs but the rest are poo poo holes.

For a long time the taxi cabs had a stranglehold on strip clubs, they got up to $150pp kick back from clubs to take customers there. So, taxi drivers would take people wherever they were going to get the most money, lie to customers etc etc etc. Just bad business all around. Hence why you'd always have to pay a cover charge to get into a strip club if you took a taxi, they would drop you off, go around the corner and get paid once you walked in. To circumvent all that bullshit and save themselves money, the clubs got smart and offered their own car service.

It's actually sorta nice eating alone since you can go somewhere and sit at the bar and not wait like everyone else. When I went to Gordon Ramsay Burgr by myself, the options were a 90 minute wait for a table or a 0 minute wait for a bar seat. So I guess my answer is "someplace that serves food at the bar."

Vegas always has a fair number of solo people though, so if you really wanted to eat at a place I wouldn't really worry about it.

Are you wealthy? Attractive? Socially capable? If any of the 3 a nightclub is a decent bet. If not...Any super touristy bar on the strip.

You can eat alone at basically any restaurant and be fine, as the poster above said just sit at the bar. I've found myself meeting some interesting people at the bar in lots of cities.

This.

Even if you're not those things, if you are at least aware of your wealth/attractive/social quotient, and you stick in your league, you are almost guaranteed to get laid.

Vegas also presents well to the machine gun approach. Find someone within 20 feet of you that is +/- 2 points from you on the wealth/attractive/social scale. Strike up a conversation. If in 60 seconds, it feels like it's going somewhere, keep going. If not, move on. Repeat. 10 or 20 or 100 times later, you will have a girlfriend for the night.
