Man reknowned for being a massively egotistical idiot with a seriously overinflated sense of entitlement also has zero interpersonal skills and cannot comprehend a relationship structure where the other participant might have a say in anything. Hold me up I think I'm about to faint from shock.

Given the critical importance of Saudi Arabia in the middle east, any collapse of the current regime would likely mean a Syria style conflict spreading across the entire region, which nobody wants to see and which would be a hideous nightmare to deal with. this is fine, but you could say exactly the same of Saddam, Ghadaffi and Assad. Saudi Aramco is the reason we're friends with the saudis. Saudi Arabia is the sister state of Texas.

e/ lol the daily mail actually published the next pic: say what you like about Danzukic, the man loves big kitties also more lol, she was 'shocked he was horny' oh wait, she said 'good, that was my intention' (danzukic is in grey) haha loving danzukic got played by a teenager who probably made a decent five figures from selling her story. sex scandals are much more amusing with a paper trail. When she learned of Simon’s sexting to Sophena Houlihan last week, Sonia said she was not at all surprised. ‘I’ve always said that it would not surprise me if Simon was found with an orange in his mouth, his mouth gagged, and a bin liner over his head, dead,’ she said – a reference to Tory MP Stephen Milligan who died this way. ‘Sexually he was quite perverted. He introduced me to pornography shortly after we married and wanted to tie me up and cane me. I tried it for him and out of curiosity but I really didn’t like it. ‘He also always liked to use poppers – amyl nitrite – as he said that made the sex so much better. ‘He bought me a vibrator once for my birthday. I remember unwrapping my presents on the kitchen table at breakfast. It was a mail order thing and it was pink. I was horrified. He said, “Well you said we don’t spend enough time together so I thought this would help.” I just flung it aside and said, “What the hell is this?” He couldn’t distinguish sex from love. I wanted more family time – not a sex toy.’ Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...l#ixzz3wA2dwpmE Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook JFairfax fucked around with this message at 07:44 on Jan 3, 2016 |

JFairfax posted:this is fine, but you could say exactly the same of Saddam, Ghadaffi and Assad. Well yes, quite. The reason the West has bottled out of trying to overthrow Assad* and doesn't even contemplate touching the Saudis** is because the previous disasters caused by toppling Saddam and Gaddafi have been sufficiently off-putting. *Making pompous declarations that "Assad must go" without any sort of diplomatic or military attempts to back this up does not count as trying to overthrow him imo. **Additionally, the Saudis have also been much more successful at pushing themselves as an essential stabilizing force that the West needs to do business with than certain other (now defunct) regimes.

the west threw tons of weapons at the 'moderate' opposition forces who want to depose Assad and some of those 'moderates' and plenty of the weapons and trucks have made their way to ISIS. /e but yes aside from arming the opposition, providing them financial support (which has sometimes backfired) the west have stopped short of invading syria.

The West doesn't really know what it wants in Syria: it doesn't like Assad, doesn't like ISIS, has very serious doubts about the 'moderate' opposition forces and very very definitely doesn't want to invade and take a shot at sorting the whole mess out themselves. The result has been years of vacillation and various halfhearted initiatives that invariably peter out without achieving anything.

The West's confusion around Syria is more to do with Russia than it is Isis. Allowing Russia to expand it's sphere without even a token attempt at resistance was too much for at least America to accept. Rest of NATO probably couldn't care less because of a pandemic lack of will to power and money. But we all got dragged along once again. Oh and the Paris attacks which made a country famous for not giving a gently caress suddenly give all the fucks at the worst possible time. Notice when Russia overtly entered the conflict its first actions were to bomb all the NATO friendly militias. Whoops!

the NATO friendly militias are opposed to assad who russia is supporting. that they bombed them is not surprising. The Taliban were once a Nato friendly militia

A Corbyn-led Labour party makes it easier for the Tory party to push hard right, and sabotaging Danczuk removes the most vocal threat to Corbyn's power. Much as the press shits on Corbyn, they don't actually want him to go anywhere. If Labour somehow found a charismatic Blairite to lead them to the mythical centre, the Tories would have to move to the centre to combat them, and The Mail and The Sun don't want that.
