Here's the original, it's from the Wall Street Journal. I think they included the black couple on the top right to show how "poor" people aren't getting hosed over like the rest of them! These tax increases are such a burden, who can possibly live with that? Won't someone PLEASE think of the rich people?!?

Muslims are also supposed to avoid eating donkey, whale, shellfish, wolf, scorpions, monkeys, turtles, elephants, bats, dogs, bears, and a bunch of other animals but you never see any memes about shooting Muslims with bear blood infused bullets. The real question is when is ISIS going to get with the program and start force-feeding Christians beef on Good Friday.

Then when you inevitably get hired by some place like walmart or winco they get a huge rear end tax break they do not need for hiring you. California even counts an unpaid job like volunteering at a foodbank as work in this situation. That wasn't what I was talking about. I was talking about just kind of inventing work for people who don't have any and would like some and if there isn't enough to do then just pay them anyway. PA does something very similar; if you are on welfare or unemployment you must be actively looking for work and prove that you are. The problem is that the job market in the state is absolute, complete poo poo. The Republican meme of "there's just so many jobs everywhere!!!!" is complete nonsense.

There were jobs programs during the Great Depression like the WPA and the CCC that created work on public projects. We could do that today. There are lots of projects in the public sector that need doing, from bridge repairs to national park maintenance to digitizing archives.

As for the Woody Allen thing, I'm a fan of his work but I have to admit that his personal life is hosed up and people should be more concerned about the molestation charges. I don't think that the Cosby case is a conspiracy against the black man (don't conspiracy nuts generally think the government is more powerful than to sit around bound by statutes if limitations before finally arresting him only very recently?), I think it's because everyone knew Cosby and he assaulted over 30 women.
