Isn't there a way to determine mathematically what the best moves are for every map? And then your time is determined by level up RNG? Basically what I'm saying is this is terrible

I could see a Fire Emblem speedrun being interesting if you know the game, it's probably got some neat setups or exploits. But yeah, if you're not into the game it's a downer shift. I still like them having these sorts of games, though, since it's undoubtedly interesting to someone and sometimes that someone is me.

Some versions of Fire Emblem have a deterministic psuedo-random number generator for combat and every time you move the cursor it increments one position. So you can control it there by moving the cursor around until you're in the value you want. This is also boring to watch, though.
