drat those wheels are sweet. I wonder if they're 4x100. edit: Yup. I wonder who has a wrecked GTI-R in their yard around here.

OK, I think I found real gold here. 4BT swapped 1995 Land Cruiser Price is a little high at $20k, but it looks like a really clean swap. Too bad my fiancee hates SUV's, or else I would be trying to convince her we need it as second car.

I dunno I like the 4BT but there's nothing wrong with the original gas straight six they came with. I'd rather have the diesel in something with a long constant run cycle, like trailering across country.

I've already found one of the 2015 New Release versions (and own an original Z-Whiz, for that matter.) Fake edit: There was also a casting released in 2006, and re-released right up to 2015: http://hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Datsun_240Z Stock-bodied, rather than the wheel-arch flares on the 2015 new release. I would pay US$2000 for that, which is like, what, CA$4500? Unfortunately, I'm in Texas, so that's a bit of a drive, plus Customs, don't have a passport, etc. Ah, well. I should spend money on my '70 Cutlass post coupe instead, anyway. also, I have no money, so there's that. actual edit: Hell, I would send you one of the new ones if I find another, providing shipping and customs isn't a nightmare to navigate. No duty/VAT if it's a gift, right?

That said, I love them. You know those 1500hp+++ Dubai sand jeeps? Those are the 1FZFE out of the FZJ80 Land Cruiser. Think of it as a 4.5L 2JZ. I miss my 97. For that price I would assume that wagon is probably not so good underneath. I had to replace the frame on a 50000 mile 68 coupe.

Toss a cheap parts store inline fuel pump right before the injector pump wired to switched power and you won't have to worry about the injection pump. I might actually have a rebuilt injection pump laying around that I had bought for mine.

Any input on how much I could offer this guy? I want to pull off a couple body panels and some interior bits, but he doesn't want to part it out despite the fact it's been listed for months now. I figure if I can get him low enough, it would be worth it to take off what I need and then part out the rest myself: http://tallahassee.craigslist.org/cto/5345221894.html

That rust is pretty bad. on my truck, i was able to get 5 of the 6 bed bolts out, most of the time they rust solid and you have to cut them even on trucks that don't look rusty. That would still be an awesome donor. grind off all the hardware and bolt all the go bits under a 70s ford country squire. build a 1974 wood paneled excursion.
