I loved Final Fight as a kid but just searching the version I played (Amiga) makes it sound like a huge pile of poo poo, guess i gotta go play the arcade version. Plus it had the best last boss, some fat guy in a wheel chair that shoots at you.

Like, Streets is fine and everything? But I'm for one really happy that Capcom at least did more stuff with it's beat em' up franchise, and there's something goofy/funny/entertaining about all of them. FF FF2 FF3 Final Fight Revenge Mighty Final Fight Final Fight Streetwise (yeah, there's parts I like/enjoy) Final Fight One Guy, Cody, Hugo, Sodom, Poison and Rolento in Street Fighter games Haggar in Marvel Instead of Sega seemingly being embarrassed by Streets of Rage's existence for some reason, cancelling 3 reboots of it, having the awesome Streets of Rage fan remake get taken down, and not putting a single character or stage of SoR in the Sonic All-Stars Racing franchise.

See, the thing is that I find pretty much every character and enemy in SOR really kinda generic and not very interesting, or (mostly in SOR3) so over the top and silly, that it's also a turn-off. If Sega had done...SOMETHING else with Adam, Blaze or Axel, like, put them in Fighting Vipers, or made an arcade sequel in the vein of Die Hard Arcade...like...why the gently caress not? They could have fleshed them out so much more. Cody started as kind of a generic dude, but has since been turned into this secretly ultra powerful bad-rear end, who's also a flawed character who went against the normal hero mold in the end. Giant Bomb did their latest 50 Turn Mario Party Party live at a panel and the cheers, boos, and the way the game went turned it into a wrestling match. SBF needs to tap into this rich, live, lovely party game market while it's hot.
