Just started watching Clone Wars because nerds keep saying it's good. It's good. Is Rebels this good? Is there a way to legally watch it without cable?

If you like Clone Wars, I'd say Rebels is if anything even more consistent in terms of quality.

Rebels gets better once they leave Lothal. I found the first couple episodes pretty boring. Rebels is available on Amazon Video.

Gasgano was my favorite pod racer. What's all the cool poo poo about him?

was the most legendary racer ever due to using marginal force abilities to enhance his driving, he allowed Anakin to win after feeling a nagging with the force. It was his first loss ever, and he went on to retire back on his planet of "dudes who race all the time"

Season 1 is pretty consistent, Season 2 starts off loving great before slamming into a bunch of stupid movie homages, Season 3 is pretty good and has a great finale. I personally disliked most of Season 4, but the Heart of Darkness Clone episodes are brilliant. Season 5 is a letdown apart from some more brilliant stuff like The Lawless, and the unfinished Season 6 episodes range from really good to really bad. This is the show that ripped off the Gollum routine not once, not twice, but three times with separate characters.

Stupid Post Maker posted:Gasgano was my favorite pod racer. What's all the cool poo poo about him? Easily ranking among the most famous podracer pilots in the galaxy, Gasgano was one of the deadliest fiends on the track, if one was able to anger him. Otherwise, he'd just pass other participants, focused on reaching the finish line first rather than destroying other racers' pods (a method favored by Sebulba). Gasgano's custom-built Ord Pedrovia placed a heavy emphasis on acceleration, helping him take the lead in the critical early seconds of a Podrace. The Xexto had little patience for Humans and often condemned lesser pilot Anakin Skywalker as a rookie wannabe, while at the same time being impressed that the Human boy had ever dared to strap himself into a Pod in the first place. Gasgano was championed by Gardulla Besadii the Elder, although she was far from the only spectator who bet on him; many predicted Gasgano would overtake Sebulba in the Boonta Eve Classic. Placed prominently on the grid, the Xexto took a good start when Jabba the Hutt gave the kickoff, and managed to stay in the front runners throughout the race. While Gasgano placed second behind Anakin in this race, Sebulba's defeat and subsequent temporary loss of dignity provided the Xexto with an excellent chance to further his own career as a Podracer. Although Gasgano has a reputation as an intellectual, he got drunk in the nearest cantina to celebrate his victory. However, not bothering to rest from his partial victory in the Boonta, the competitive Gasgano quickly moved on to other races, and soon became the favorite pilot on the barren Podracing moon of Oovo IV.

I recently discovered people have made Racer run on modern computers (and even preconfigured it for Xbox 360 controllers) and went on a major nostalgia trip. e: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jedi_brute quote:Jedi brute was a title used by the Jedi Order to describe one of four Jedi-held ranks in the Coruscant Jedi Temple Security Force.

If only the space slug in the wall could actually eat people. I also loved the volcano track and Howler Gorge. Worst track was probably The Abyss for being loving impossible.

When a Jedi Knight began their independent studies separate from their former Jedi Master, they had the option of choosing from three classes of Jedi: the Guardian, Consular, and Sentinel. A sniper of the the Jedi Temple Security Force was a Guardian who pursued the specialization of Peacekeeper based on Coruscant.[1]

These appear to be terms of convenience used by the programmers to describe the AI and abilities of videogame enemies that apparently were never really "player facing."

Neva Kee was actually the best podracer from the game. It's too bad that racer's revenge was terrible and I'm not glad it came with battlefront for free.

All these people claiming 'The Clone Wars' is good have a pretty big tolerance for terrible bullshit. I specifically looked up a list of "best episodes" because attempting to watch random episodes wasn't working and at best they are tolerable (the trooper episodes). I got three episodes into 'Rebels' and it's just as bad, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised since it's a kids show but god dammit you guys tricked me! Gonna watch some 'Clone Wars' samurai jack action to cleanse my star wars palette.
