I always found Internode to be freaking amazing. Obviously they can't do poo poo about the copper if that is your problem but their staff are crazy helpful if you do hit an issue.

Internode is very very good.

I also found their customer service to be consistently exceptional. The change after dealing with Telstra was quite remarkable.

So there's articles by the ABC about India having a big push of Solar over coal, and now China has stated it's shutting a 1000 coal mines and not giving out licenses for any more for at least 3 years.

Who's going to eat our coal now?

Internode WAS good is what people are trying to tell you, go back in time before TPG bought them and switch to them is my suggestion. All the isps are the same three companies now and Telstra is the only one now that has good international routing somehow (used to be internode).

The stuff in India has been on the card since shortly after their new PM got elected. Apparently the financing model they decided upon for modernising India's energy network made renewable energy extremely competitive versus alternatives. Solar makes sense anyway, most of the villagers there would be over the moon to have a small solar panel and a car battery so they can light their hut at night; no need for large centralised power stations and it saves on building the network infrastructure.

It's been a long time coming but I'm starting to feel a bit less pessimistic about the future now countries like China and India are starting (slowly) to pull their fingers out. Maybe they've finally realised the economics of the issue or something.

You know, if anyone should be held to be politically correct, it probably should be politicians.

But since we clearly don't hold them to be factually correct either, whatever.

I know of iinet business plans being upgraded this week from 300GB > 1000GB per month. Maybe they will also do this for domestic plans?

I was with Internode for over a decade but have recently left them because unless you're on their DSLAMs they offer bugger all quota. Think I was paying $60 for 100GB.

If you cut a sandwich in half does it cease to be a sandwich? Folding a slice of bread is the same.

Is a club sandwich really 1.5 sandwiches because it has 3 slices of bread?

Expand your mind fool.
