Agreed, I think the reason the Mitsuoka looks so "off" is the combo of old-style rounded fenders with the more square, boxy windows and sharper body lines. Round and smooth the body lines, bring the rear wheel fenders up a bit, add a little roundness to the side/rear windows and chop the roof down maybe a couple inches while narrowing the windshield. The front's not entirely terrible, reminds me of Dizzy Gillespie.

Lots of clips of people driving through deep puddles this week, but this one qualifies as awesome in my book. http://i.imgur.com/159i8qS.gifv Firefighters just don't give a poo poo, they got somewhere to go, they gonna get there. I love how they pop the doors to help it drain.

I once drove my '71 Nova through water nearly that deep at a similar intersection. It started to float when the water got up to the sills -- engine revs spiked, the back end started to drift with the current -- luckily I had gone in fast enough that the momentum carried me to the opposite shore.Root Bear posted:This one was based on an early 90's Mustang GT: Is there a single original body panel on that? Maybe the doors and A-pillar, I guess. The Mercury version used the original roofline, for better or for worse.
