I sympathize a lot with the female reporter in this circumstance: Gayle was hardly behaving like Hitler but cricket is a gentleman's game and it would have been the gentlemanly thing to show her respect as a sports journalist -she's put in a lovely situation whereby she can't really neutralize his flirting and do her job without coming across as 'bitchy' or a 'victim'. It's an unfair situation and I can understand why many women interpret this gratuitous, public, bullying masculinity as an assault on their gender and their personhood. Unfortunately, the Progressive denial of the intrinsic differences between men and women is fundamentally absurd and if we want to avoid the nightmare scenario of our public institutions and debate being ground to a halt by dumpy cat ladies and tortured white knight virgins, then we're going to have to get serious about banning women from public life, submitting ourselves to the will of Allah and accepting the perfect order of the world he created.

No-one cares that it happens to men, because for the most part it isn't a consistent form of harassment of men and most importantly most men wouldn't be bothered by it. There are two options here if you're trying to go down the "bu...bu...but consistency!" route. 1. You are arguing that men should respond negatively to advances in inappropriate situations even if they are fine with them. or: 2. You are arguing that women should stop complaining and act more like men. Which one of the two is it?

Probably don't hit on people in a creepy way on live television, especially when everyone is all torqued up over the Briggs Debacle and the Dutton Slow Motion Car Crash. He probably would have got away with it had he just said something like "i got out so i could come talk to you." That's self-deprecating and pretty dorky. However he kept at it which was creepy as, especially when she didn't play along and instead tried to do her job. You can talk all you like about double standards but it's pretty loving rich to claim that poo poo when women get paid less, are claimed to age worse, are sexually harrassed more, are more often the victim of domestic violence, can't hella get their gently caress on without society getting all riled up, are marketed terrible alcoholic drinks such as Smirnoff Ice and Lemon Ruski, are

Yet I guess after achieving these things the Left got bored and hitched it's wagon to a Multicultural Project (whose logic and principles I still can't quite discern) and a programme of sexual liberation/social atomization, both of which seem likely to contribute to the undermining of the social cohesion needed for our institutions - for example the aforementioned issue of FGM and how to approach it, when ultimately it was a problem that didn't need importing to Australia . I accept that ultimately this is a function of Neoliberal late capitalism but reject the Marxist project because of the jealous, critical dispositions and dishonest ethics of those who are drawn to it......
