The bits I've been watching have been solid gold, one after another. Seriously, awful games needs more time and to be spread out more.

That and they've been dissected/played enough to the point where going faster than 90% of everyone else is coming from more esoteric optimizations. Bonus points if there's a TAS run that has done all of the legwork for you.

Ah, the traditional Castlevania stage of... a factory filled with skeletons wearing 20th century military helmets. This game is weird.

Yeah! I never heard of the game before. Only looked at the box art and one of the magazine adverts for it, so it was alright as a curiosity. Its ending cutscene sure did deliver ..something.. though. It sure was something that was a part of its story.

The Castlevania's goin well atm, too. It's crazy how good the marathon's been overall.

There's no Tetris this marathon so it's immediately docked points for that

Otherwise it's been fine, I haven't been able to watch as much as I had before but what I have seen has been pretty good. Mostly anything with PJ/TMR/Spike and some of the runs with good banter/couches own too

Yeahhhhh I'm skeptical that Stepmania is going to be nearly as exciting, but a lot of people were wrong about Tetris before so. Could be good?

Faster load times and vastly reduced lag. The sparkles/flames every time you kill a boss absolutely murder framerates on the PS1/PSN version, for example.

I like these sorts of runs. The runner isn't uncomfortable in front of the camera and has good chemistry with the rest of the couch. Feels more like they're just assembled here to shoot the poo poo and have fun instead of being mechanically perfect.
