Suikoden 2 is so good, I've never even played a Suikoden game before until this year but since it was only $2.50 I said why not and its incredible, and it has held up really well thanks to the mostly 2d art so it doesn't look awful even though it's an early PSone game.

Huh, games are now apparently slightly cheaper in the UK than the US or Canada, assuming you don't pay over 40, which is fairly easy. New digital is still like US$90 though.

At launch in 2013/early 2014, new games were $60CAD, it's been steadily creeping up since then due to the exchange rate. That said, during the Clinton years and a bit before they were also $80CAD, sometimes higher if you were getting a memory-heavy jRPG or something.

Any retailer I have access to is total garbage when it comes putting retail games on sale.

Yes, it has, at least for NA region. No release date was given, but it is planned to come out this spring. Both Gamestop and Amazon claim a release date of June 7, but I don't think that was confirmed by Atlus.

The prices on digital items in Japan already includes the tax. In fact, prices got all kinds of hosed because everything was tweaked to have clean prices at 5% tax. Then they raised it to 8% so items had prices like 627 yen and it's basically impossible to cleanly spend an entire wallet card now.

I've played about 10 hours of Dragon Age: Origins now and I've decided that it's not that bad, really, kind of like a more competent and focused Kingdoms of Amalur without the charm. So what about DA2? I see it's on sale at the store for a fiver but I've heard that most people poo poo all over it. I'm sure this has been done to death by now but this is pretty much the first time ever I've been even remotely interested in the franchise so what's so lovely about DA2? There are a whole lot of things I don't care for in DA:O and I gather DA2 fixed some of those things but is otherwise garbage or something. Also is DA:O Awakening worth anything? 20 bucks for a DLC sounds pretty nutty to me. Does it ever go on sale?
