Yeah, NPCs gain affection for you based on how often you talk to them and what items you give them (some even have a preference of item) and so you will often end up with some random shopkeeper NPC as your chosen true love in the endgame because you spoke to them a lot, which is hilarious.

Does anyone know if the game accepts controller and kb/mouse inputs simultaneously? I want to be able to use kb hotkeys while still using a controller, and map hotkeys to my DS4's touchpad. You: "Fine, whatever gets me out of this cutscene" *Draws Weapons as pawns begin running around smashing barrels*

I never wanted to use the pawn commands because they influence their behavior so every time you say "help" you're just moving them towards the garbage guardian inclination.

It absolutely does, it switches seamlessly and even the tooltips update instantly. Its a super well done port. I caved and downloaded the leak after staring at "Preloaded - Unreleased" for 10 hours. Game runs flawlessly at max settings. MT Framework such a good engine. Can't wait for release so I can hire the ugliest loving pawns around and kill some goblins.
