There are two things I think they need to do to make the Alex story better: make it connect to the overarching story, and have the final battle be on top of Alex's head as he stomps towards Idyllshire.

Has anyone played on both Windows 7 and Windows 10? My computer keeps bugging me to upgrade; it is an old build that was current in like 2011 so I wouldn't want to upgrade and then find that the game's performance is lower - I'm barely able to run the game as is.

Way back in like 2.4 I thought it'd be amazing if the upcoming Midagrdsormr dungeon actually took place on his back while he flies around. We never got that, but I'd take a battle in top of a giant robot while it visibly tramples the countryside. Maybe tie it to the story by waking up Tiamat to help, so now you are having a battle on top of a giant robot while it has a kaiju fight with a huge dragon. You then needed and then didn't need to do extreme versions to challenge high level extremes. It's part of them making the content initially tuned for end game nerds and then making it available to everyone after a patch or two.

So if there is no such thing as elemental resistance/weakness why is it not a good idea to just cast ice all the time, get the same damage boost through umbral ice stance and just have like unlimited mp through the regen?

Astral Fire boosts damage and removes Umbral Ice, Umbral Ice boosts mana regen and removes Astral Fire.

Bismarck EX and Ravana EX are both hard fights, but Ravana EX is way more fun and gives a feeling of "heh, that was cool" after finish it instead of "thank god I never have to do that fight again."

Bismark is a cool fight with cool music that has some fun stuff to do. Ravana is lame, stupid, garbage and has lovely music. I would describe neither as hard, even in 170 gear. You do more damage with fire spells thanks to Astral Fire and switching to Umbral Ice for a few GCDs once you run out of MP casting fire means you essentially have infinite MP anyway. I mean it's possible to do nothing but cast bliz1 over and over forever but that is both lovely damage and way lazier than switching between Astral and Umbral. And the THM rotation is already pretty simple.

I'm being hyperbolic, as I am want to do. It's not horrible and compared to other primals it's fitting and I wouldn't change it but it doesn't mean I would listen to it on it's own and enjoy it as I would with other themes.
