it's basically Dark Souls crossed with Monster Hunter crossed a bit with Shadow of the Colossus with a neat party system and the combat and movement of a very Capcom game ala Lost Planet/Shadow of Rome/Dead Rising except faster it seems pretty neat for the hour or so I've played so far. nights are loving dark which is cool. you can create your own character and then your permanent pawn which can help other people and you can recruit up to two more at once

I got to the bit in Bravely Default where they expect you to kill every boss in the game again with updated health/damage values It was fun doing a hard mode run I guess but this is total bs so I'm gonna turn it down to easy and faceroll the 20+ fights until the game's story goes somewhere again what a lovely design decision christ

ok so the thing im realizing i like a lot about dd is not that it reminds me of dark souls because it really doesnt, but it reminds me a lot of the first Gothick game, which is a really good thing in my book (the other gothick games were not very good)
