I hope the fix for the pawns not getting any rewards also fix the summoning issue in the rift. There is a ton of people on my friends list who are playing Dragon Dogma, but I only see about ten people pawns available. I want to hire Everdred's Undyne, but she won't appear even through he on my friends list.

Going by the Steam forums, it looks like the RC thing is only working for some people. Also the only thing you should cheat is the Gold Idol, because gently caress that mission and gently caress that kid.

I've been having a weird issue with the game. I am able to run around for a few minutes with zero lag and problems and then the game just grinds down to a complete halt and stays there. it feels like a memory leak. I'm running a GTX 760 and it seems as though my graphics card is just pinning it during this time. However my processor (I7, 2.6) and ram are both only at 50% usage. I've tried -running on low settings - setting globals to default in nvidia manager - vsync on / off - reinstalling graphics drivers - verifying game files - changing every in game setting to low / off kind of at a loss here. I feel the game should be running fine given my specs (and it does... just for a couple of minutes then craps out).

It doesn't matter for your first question. Other than levels 1-10 where you have to be a base class, feel free to switch right away unless there's an augment you really want (like Sinew for fighter). For your second question, stat gains slow at 100, max level is 200.

Where is the witch in witchwood? I only found her hut, and some girl that said she wasn't allowed to talk to strangers or something. Also, anyone always getting "starting in offline mode" when booting the game?

The assumed escort quest went poof because I advanced the main story. This is some side quest "give witch a herb" or something I picked up on a notice board.

After you give the herb, you get an ale. Go back to the short fat dude by the notice board to finish the quest.

Anyone interested in doing the Bad Business (last Madeline) quest might want to set a checkpoint right before they enter her shop; I talked to the lady in the store and picked up the divine razors, but the quest never got added to my log and I can't progress it. Not failed, it just didn't get added.

Ok, so I beat the dragon and now things got really weird. Also got the duchess as my beloved because I did her quest, boooooo. I tried to get the female bandit leader instead. Edit: Does every npc have unique dialogue when you've rescued them? The duchess said something about trying to leave the island, but being snatched up by the dragon and brought there. It's still not working for me, bit I'm glad that we will apparently get the RC / gifts from the last three days once the fix works properly. I still always gave max ratings, a nice gift and a carefully chosen greeting to every pawn.

Throw three skulls at him so he's cursed. Grapple his back, so he falls over backwards. Jump off at the right moment. When he lies there, throw a Throwblast at his head. Three or four of them and he's dead. Super easy.

Yeah, Ogres aren't so bad with either Throwblasts to set them on fire or a fire enchantment. Try to avoid having a female in your party if you can if you know you're going up against one and then it's just a battle of attrition from there because they telegraph their attacks.

It's one of those bad design quirks, not only does the game never tell you that skulls do that, you also have to figure out that you need to do it three times on an Ogre because he has high resistance. Smaller enemies are cursed from one skull but with those it's never necessary.
