Ignoring pokemon, there was a mario OVA a couple decades ago, there was the F-zero anime you mentioned and the animal crossing movie, but also there was the donkey kong country show that I guess was popular in japan, the kirby show, the kid icarus and pikmin shorts you mentioned, a fire emblem anime, and a fuckton of manga based on the zelda games, as well as the metroid manga stuff that they reused art for in one of the metroid games, and a bunch of other mangas. Not to mention that nintendo for a while had a partnership with Hamtaro where they made some really good adventure games using the brand, and I guess fossil fighters is a first party title too I think and I know it has a manga thing too. Nintendo's pretty deep in the anime stuff
