Round,
Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple
Rolling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Yeah agreed. There's no feels behind it that gave the old series its strength. I cared about Mulders crusade to find out about Samantha and when he finally found her (for real) it was sad but rewarding because the show had us caring.

It's a bit uneven but I feel like at least part of that is because they've had to navigate all the past poo poo the show did. Once they have a new established storyline i'm sure it will kick into gear a little bit.

I don't think it's terrible even so. Kinda meh, but not bad.

I don't even think the energy technology is real. The government are just assholes who want to justify making AMERICA a police state.
