Put R3-A2 on Wes and you can keep a lot of the funcop capability. Going from five dice to six is enough to hit goddamn near everything, and with Keyan's ability and target lock gives you the ability to reliably one shot things with any combination of six green dice and hit points (with the possible exception of turtled up Interceptors).

Turns after that: SLAM around the map until you can get range 1 on a different man. You see where this is going. It's a terrible gimmick, but you could probably make someone angry with this.

Biggs escorting literally anything. Han Solo and Boba Fett. You can't do two Boba Fetts because they're unique and the same name.

Something like: Keyan Farlander (29) Opportunist (4) Fire-Control System (2) Heavy Laser Cannon (7) Wes Janson (29) Veteran Instincts (1) R3-A2 (2) Integrated Astromech (0) Biggs Darklighter (25) R4-D6 (1) Integrated Astromech (0) Total: 100 I don't like not having at least a 1 point initiative bid, but there's nothing I really want to drop, either.

I like R4-D6 on Biggs. For the same cost as an R2 unit he garuntees no matter how hard they try to burn him down to get to the HVT behind him, he's soaking at least 3 shots.

I haven't seen a lot of either in my meta, so when in the combat order you stress them out hasn't been an issue, but if they're turning up in your OpFor that's solid business there. The whole concept of R3-A2 amuses me. I imagine him just rolling around Echo Base bleeping out in binary: "Did you remember to turn off the stove?" "What do you think your wife is up to while you're off fighting for the Rebellion?" "You know you're never going to pay off that space college loan." General Reiken is eventually all like "We could just wipe his memory and restore the default astromech personality core, but I think we can put this to work for us. Slot him in a Y-Wing and key the narrow band communications to our space laser guns in order transmit his aggravation to TIE pilots we're shooting at as well."

Works really great, would recommend.

I have the armypainter one as well, works decently. My friend has another make (I dunno which) which has a thinner line (and is therefore better), I'll ask him what make he bought but even then the armypainter one is plenty accurate enough.

You can check out amazon/ebay for a "Laser Level". The cheap ones are really cheap and - I guess - don't incur in the "hobbyist market supercharged price" problem. I've got one for 10€ and it has both horizontal and vertical options. It's a bit bulkier than the models I usually see around though (size and shape of a regular mouse).
