My stance is that the FBI probably knows better than I do...but then again Cliven has been threatening them into submission since the mid 90s and hasn't faced any real consequences. I retain my right to ridicule their non response to some pretty major crimes, and their lovely response to all govt officials and the citizenry asking what the hell, until I see some results. The poo poo going down in Burns and Malheur is not harmless, isn't contained, and isn't getting any better. Everyday I'm less convinced of the need for restraint due to the prospect of this getting out of hand when the feds make ANY sort of response. Mostly because I'm watching a non response and its getting out of hand in ways that weren't reality 2 weeks ago, and are unique to a non response. At the very least there should have been some show of effort to stop them from bringing kids into the building. If the feds assume Ammon is serious (and it appears they do), then that was a major major drop of the ball.

Seems like tonight's meeting to expand their operations may have been what triggered the Feds into finally acting. If this is true it will be interesting to see what the people at the refuge do.
