Bromide posted a thread asking for people to help draw their genius comedy webcomic. Sid Delicious offered a portfolio of their artwork, including a picture of Goku's legs. For some reason, goons just latched onto them, and they became a symbol of the whole weird affair.

Speaking of whom, did anyone ever find out if Spoonful was the same person as the one that claimed they literally were Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite? I remember a lot of people had suspicions of that because they were both obsessed with the same lovely webcomic.

As someone who escaped that shithole of people, they might as well be for the racist way some people act. Don't forget the "NI**ER" picture also hails from AZ, and the group that took over the Oregon refuge is also the same group that got hundreds of people to protest outside an Arizona mosque.

I mean, the desert is beautiful and I miss it. It's just that the people there make it a bad place to live. I think the summer getting to 118 might just piss people off.

They're legal everywhere in the U.S. The problem is that right wing nutcases wish that they weren't.

I think it's more meant to imply that The Terrorists are sneaking across the border from Mexico to blow us all up.

The first question I had looking at that picture was, "Wait, why would they be so slovenly with a prayer rug/casually litter with it?" These stories have no internal consistency! Take a writing class, racists!

Because paranoid nutjob types believe Isis is pouring through the US boarder from Mexico to help usher in Obama's thousand year of liberal darkness. They saw this as proof that this was actually happening.

and independent security contractors = bunch of rednecks with guns hoping they can shoot women and children trying to get into the US from mexico.

This is one of those things that happens like clockwork on imgur. Every time someone posts a creeper shot of some under-18 chick and someone points out the age, half the responses are "ahem actually 16 is the true age of consent :smugdog:" (followed by "here in [European country] it's 14, yay!") and the other half are "heh maybe you should consider that I'm under 16 myself :smugdog: :smugdog:"

Eh sort of? Mostly with teens age 14-17 in like bathing suits at the beach and stuff. It's a lot less stigmatized if it's teen dudes. Even Rolling Stone tends to do that sort of thing.

I mean you're not gonna see it in newspapers or whatever but tabloid and other celebrity related mags will do it while acting like they're not promoting pedophilia interests
