The rest of the militia are trying to claim that the people involved in the shootout were unarmed, and that the tarp guy had his hands up and was trying to surrender when he was shot dead by the FBI. It's pathetic that they think anybody would believe that.

How is it unbelievable that the FBI would kill a defenseless surrendering person? The Bundys are assholes and "Wait until they leave and arrest them" is clearly the good call, but it's not like the FBI doesn't have a history of gunning people down regardless of whether or not they're holding a gun.

It's unfortunate that the bad word they could spell out was that one. I'm intrigued and impressed by their ingenuity though. I wonder if they just wanted to be naughty and subversive or they really wanted to be racist. What other bad words could they have opted for instead?

They could've spelled out "FU**ER" since there's an F in OF. Has the added bonus of being either FUCKER or FUHRER, meaning you can either piss off people who dislike curse words, or be anti-Semitic if you really need to be a hateful prick.
There's also "oval office" for that classic Australian touch.

E: "SLUTS" and "SLUT", sadly no H for "BITCHES".
