So even though there is a legal route, most state laws don't have a process to allow convicted felons to get back the right to own guns. His math says that it would take almost a half-million conspirators to fake the moon landing given it's scope, but it would likely take 3 years for a whistleblower to show up to blow the whole thing wide open with no prior investigations. Conspiracies that get too big don't stay quiet for long.
