also I think samsubg phones did (do?) helpfully play a loud notification tone and turn on the screen at full brightness to let you know the phone is fully charged and that you should unplug it "to conserve power", which I imagine is real fun at 3 am so theyre basically pavloving users into stupid habits even more actively than you thought

I use my iPad less since I got the 6s plus. I have an Air 2 but probably won't get a new iPad any time soon since it will probably fine for shitposting and YouTube for a long time. A lot of people feel the same way about their iPad 4, Air, etc.

i don't like apple but i don't think that article is right, because i have a nexus 7 2013 and the only reason i have yet to buy a new one is how long it has lasted and it rarely leaves home, so i think most ipad users are on the same boat. it is just a long lasting type of device
