Pretty sure the entire point of that community was to hate literally everything that wasn't Fallout 1. They were never happy about anything at all and just wanted Fallout 1 to be repeated all over, apparently. I mean Fallout was a good game but the games it led to were generally just plain better. 3 and New Vegas weren't perfect but they were still pretty good; New Vegas especially.

Just had a look at NMA, blast from the past right there. By far the most active thread in their general discussion is called "Feminism and why it's bad" (unironically cites an amazing athiest video). Also the description of the General Fallout Discussion board says "Do not post anything related to Fallout 3 on this board.".

No Mutants Allowed had an admin so abrasive and rude that he was immortalized in Fallout Tactics (iirc) as an abrasive, rude old man who sold Nuka Cola bottles that he was just pissing in to refill. Why Bethesda didn't put in a M'aiq The Liar analogue in either of their Fallouts is beyond me. There's just so much. You've got NMA stuff, you've got neo-NMA stuff from folks who thought New Vegas was better than/equal to 3 or 4...

To be fair, Bethesda probably don't think so, and a tasteful, light jab at the game would be perfect for a M'aiq analogue.

I've always found it disturbing how hardcore raiding guilds basically demand that you submit all of your waking hours to them and get pissy if you have other commitments. I play video games to relax or burn off stress in my free time, not turn it into a second job with demands to be on-call for.

How the gently caress does someone get triggered by food? "My parents once made me eat all my peas at dinner and it was HARROWING EXPERIENCE. Since then I've subsisted through intravenous transfusions of my nutrients because the thought of eating takes me back to that day."

Do they still have the multi-tiered "content notes are different from content warnings are different from trigger warnings, label one in the wrong category and get banned" system? Because if not, the current state of things may actually be less uptight than it was when I posted my banme from that group.
