ys origin has a similar thing on Nightmare difficulty, but i guess it kind of evens out because currency in ys origin is exclusively for buying tiny ability bonuses and they're expecting you to not really need those in the first place

I like it when games are granular with difficulty. Low medium & high settings for money, items, experience, enemy levels, &c.
