I think it would be helpful to know how work safe the content/photos are before grabbing a copy for certain friends/family. Some people can't deal with a nipple or knob

My office is in the front room of a run-down 12 megapixel sensor but the rent suits me and the landlord doesn't ask many questions.

100 copies sold x 80 dicks per copy / $2558 = 3 dicks per dollar. That's a great rate.

fake edit: US dollars cause I don't believe in that funny money.

I can confirm that there is nary a single nip nor knob in the whole zine, disappointingly.

Although some pics could probably have been improved had they been replaced with a grainy webcam shot down the front of my pants.

I'm female and I submitted but my poo poo photos didn't make the cut. Obviously this means ansel is a huge misogynist and nothing else. But that definitely doesn't mean that non-dorkroomers should be invited into the next one, that would entirely defeat the purpose.

Also, I like the update - backers do get antsy in the absence of updates, even if there's really no news.

Hey, since this seens to be the general zine thread here:

What do you guys use for designing? InDesign? Any tips or references for reading, especially about layout? I have some material I'm thinking about making a magazine/zine out of.

Also Garbo, can you confirm I'm in the thing? I want to be sure before I buy some extra copies to give as gifts :)

You're definitely in.

As for design - I use InDesign. I just buy other photo books and zines and try to copy parts of their layout that I like because I don't know too much about design, but I know what I like.

It's over 100 copies ordered by my count, so I think you can ponder a tinny of something higher class than VB.

Good people don't rip other people's arms off.
If the value is declared as less than $20 they are duty exempt. If you declare an item as a gift then there needs to be a note or a card or something that indicates it is a gift which is generally more trouble than it's worth.
