As an ardent berner I can still say that I saw how Bernie doesn't handle some of the foreign policy questions so well as he does economic ones in ways that people can understand. I mean, in real-talk, its actually a massive compliment to him that he is not an immediate insider to all of the foreign policy thinktank elite stuff. The "judgment matters as much or more than experience" thing Re Iraq War is a bedrock issue. But the "oh, he is flustering" look when maybe the best answer is "your question was stupid" or "maybe doing nothing is best until we have more information" is what he really wants to say isnt so good. Fast forward: "I WILL UNLEASH NON-LETHAL EMP WEAPONS LIKE THIS WORLD HAS NEVER KNOWN TO DISARM ENEMY NUKES"

Clinton was bland, spoke long about nothing, and made some weird statements like "start good things from happening" She performed well when put on the defensive. Bernie's campaign blunders caught up to him and left him vulnerable, to the point where Hillary was able to nail him on a vote for a bill pushed by her own husband without being called out. There was almost no substance in this debate at all care of MSNBC, so all it did was just cement the fact that Hillary performs best on a defensive and Bernie sticks to the same talking points.

Yeah I don't really get people thinking this debate was bad. Like, it was sooooo much smarter than the republican debates. They spent a lot of time on dumb controversies, but those dumb controversies also happen to be super important to our dumbass electorate, so I haven't being paying nearly as much attention to the Democratic race this year as I should be (too distracted by the Republican clownshow) but I recently realized I wasn't sure if I wanted Clinton or Sanders. I was sort of drifting towards Sanders because I'm in that target demo and it's just assumed, but after this debate I think I'm leaning more towards Hilldawg.

The good thing is neutral voters that aren't firmly in the "I want Hillary to win because I'll be damned if I wait 4-8 years for Liz Warren cause I may die before then" do find favorability in Bernie, so this should be a long race. Bet Bernie will destroy Minnesota.
